- Our Beginnings
Inception Story
The idea for Rizq Breeds grew from Rizq’s long-standing work with smallholder farmers through the Kisaan Dost Program and sustainable agriculture initiatives.
While supporting farmers after the 2022 floods, the Rizq team saw an opportunity: livestock not only provides food but is a form of financial security for rural families. By integrating livestock development into Rizq’s social business model, we could:

- Channel meat to underserved communities through ethical, Shariah-compliant systems.
